Phithsamay L. Anderson earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from California Institute of the Arts. She received her Pilates certification at Long Beach Dance Conditioning in 2004 under the tutelage of Master Teacher Marie-José Blom. Phithsamay received her Level I Gyrotonic® certification in New York in 2001 under the direction of Juliu Horvath, creator of the Gyrotonic® Method, and her Level II Gyrotonic® certification in 2011 with Master Trainer Karen Mullen. She is also trained in Redcord® Neurac 1.
Phithsamay is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their functional and movement-related goals. She is committed to lifelong education and is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Performing Arts Special Interest Group and Orthopedic Section.
